| Ever since childhood I have very much enjoyed watching and reading action, adventure, fantasy, science fiction and horror stories and comics. Some of my favourite books were the Famous Five and Secret Seven series by Enid Blyton and I also love reading Stephen King, Dean Koontz and Richard Laymon novels and was a big fan of the Gor series by John Norman. I used to read the Choose Your Own Adventure books constantly, the idea that your character was a kid but had a grown up job in some of the stories really appealed to me being a kid myself at the time. As for movies there was The Goonies, Indiana Jones and Time Bandits etc as well as the Conan movies and other fantasy films like Legend (which is where my OC Kaal first came to mind based on the films character Gump) and Krull. TV shows included many Gerry Anderson puppet shows like Thunderbirds and Joe 90 and cartoons like M.A.S.k, Transformers, He-man and The Mysterious Cities of Gold to name a few. I could go on but I will run out of space on this page lol. Even though I am older now I still love this type of stuff. As well as stories and comics I also like to create general images in many of the different genres including fantasy, horror, science fiction and adventure as well as some other random pictures. Some of my images may contain scenes of nudity and some stories/comics may contain comic book or fantasy violence. With respect, if you do not like this kind of thing or you find any of it offensive please stop viewing my gallery. DO NOT steal my art work or use/post my images on other sites/galleries (I can prove ownership). Cropping my images and using parts of them in your own art work or posting the cropped image on other sites/galleries is also stealing and will not be tolerated. Please ask and I may grant permission with certain conditions. I DO NOT do requests or commisions at this time. Any requests for art work or commisions will be ignored. A note about Poser Art I hear this a lot about Poser Artists not being artists. I know from certain peoples points of view that Poser created images are not art because in most cases the models used are created by others. This is true however my opinion is that the art is in the idea of the image and how well the image is put together and not what content was used either by the artist or others. Look at it this way, using Poser is like being a director and the models are the actors. The director simply tells the actors what to do and the actors do it so with Poser the artist (director) tells (poses) the models (actors) how he wants and you have a resulting image. When a director releases a movie he gets lots of the praise and credit for the movie but all he does, in affect, is tell the actors (who the director did not make) how he wants them to pose and react in the scene. So ' Poser Artists ' are still artists in their own right. I hope this makes sense (and it is my own personal opinion). Thank you and enjoy my gallery and stories. |
